Day Out

Went up to the Serra da Estrela (Star Mountain Range - the highest in Portugal) today. Had the car full with me, Andy, James, the boys and their friends. Great fun on the body boards as makeshift sledges. Gorgeous sunny day and not too cold although the wind was icy. On the way home we stopped at Sabugeiro, the highest village in Portugal, with its souvenir shops selling local cheeses & hams, leather goods, sheepskins, & pottery. Here we bought some xmas presents for family.
