fire, that is. pretty close to us and LOTS of thick black choking smoke obscuring the sun all day yesterday and all last night. appears to be out today though. let’s hope that’s the last one this year.

We’ve got a washing machine!!! Oh am i happy or what? No more scrubby laundry sink. Oh no, not now we are the proud owners of a whirlpool 6th sense super-machine. Claims to use 60% less water and 30% less energy than other machines too. AND we got it for a bargain discount price cos it has a very tiny dent on one side. Wahey! Woohoo! Just have to wait a week for the render inside the new water tank to set before we can fill it up …
