Quinta das Abelhas

… accomplished since last posting (with the help of our 4 FANTASTIC wwoofers):
1. moved portuguese scrubby laundry sink up to tap outside kitchen - this is no mean feat, it’s damn heavy
2. finished facing the last retaining wall with granite stones
3. dug up all the weeds from the garden beds
4. planted tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, cucumbers, nasturtiums, basil in my garden
5. made a cutesy flower bed outside office door and planted it with jasmine & geraniums
6. planted LOADS of seeds in potting trays for planting out later
7. made cutesy flower borders along tops of retaining walls, planted with trailing & colourful flowers
8. seperated the rabbits so they each have their own space ready for imminent babies
9. finally admitted to ourselves that we are never going to get around to building the compost toilet and had a builder come give us a quote today
10. dug water channels all along the track so it doesn’t wash away and/or flood the house every time it rains
