so … i think i’m more-or-less done with getting this site more-or-less how i want it. will ask dom to design us a nicer (and more relevant) banner than the one that came with this theme. i’ve spent most of the weekend playing with wordpress but i think i may have got a bit carried away with adding too many plugins and widgets, hence the site is loading very slowly. will have to streamline methinks.
i’ve now transferred all the archives from our old blog, and all the pages from our old website, to this new one.
i did manage to make time yesterday to go for a long ride with my friend elise. the horses hadn’t been out for ages so we decided to go no faster than a walk - along the woodland tracks and down to the river to have a coffee with conny while the horses played and ate grass in her paddock. then back through the old cobbled streets of the village and down into the bottom of our valley before coming back home. i really enjoyed it and (as always) have promised myself i’ll make time to ride more often.
