should we stay or should we go?
we’ve decided to stay. at quinta das abelhas. the new quinta, though very tempting and exciting, is a bit of an unrealisable dream. - we’d just be stretching ourselves too much financially and time/energy-wise. so we hope to buy our neighbouring land, renovate the ruin, and make the eco-living project happen here! feel bad about disappointing our buyers, and about not getting our riverside place we’ve always wanted, but at the same time it’s no real hardship to stay here …
this weekend we’ve been stripping down and fixing up the world’s smallest caravan so we have more space for visitors. for now though it’s going to be tom’s home as he has no plans for going home anytime soon.
