Spring is on it way!

Being south facing, spring comes earlier for us than for most places. Our mimosa forest is now in full flower:

The mimosa is very beautiful, but also has many uses. I made a little polytunnel, to house seed trays. The trays are full of cooler climate veg like perennial broocolli, and trees - silver birch, sugar maple, monkey puzzle, jatropha and golden empress trees. It is simply some lengths of thin mimosa, bent over with a big old plastic bag over the top. Its not quite warm enough to start off stuff like tomatoes yet, probably in a couple of weeks.

Stumble it!
