hi paulo

how fantastic that you have a big garden now! but i was always sooo impressed with all the things you grew at your apartment :)

i actually prefer andy's garden and wish mine looked more like a "jungle" but, as i don't have so much energy/strength mine is made so it's easy to push a wheelbarrow round.

Hi Sophie and Andy,

Those are wunderful pictures!

We now move our house in the city and found a big garden and we have started planting everything and making as possible of a permaculture approach.

It's so funny to see this. In our case, I am also less organized than my dear love. Women seem to have an abbility to make a garden less than a jungle than us ;)

Anyways, we have planted besides the common stuff, things like tiger nuts, skirret, black potatoes, salsify, jerusalem and chinese artichokes, and a lot of wild flowers by seed. We have also tried some no-dig raised beds, we will wait to see the results.

I will post this week photos on our blog www.cantinhoverde.blogspot.com
ps: we're portuguese but currently living in Vienna

All the joys to you both

Looks fantastic! Oh how we dream of one day being able to actually grow something ... last year we managed herbs when we were stationary for a few months, maybe we need to think of ideas for a transportable camper garden - I'm not sure!
