Grand-daughter Isabella was born on the quinta last night, and today the proud parents buried the placenta under an olive tree in the garden.
A neta Isabella era nascida no quinta a noite passada, e hoje os pais orgulhosos enterraram a placenta sob uma oliveira no jardim.

Congratulations and love to all, Lynne xx
I’d heard of the custom of cooking and eating placenta, but not burying it, and not in Portugal. A good custom though!
i’m not sure if it’s a custom, but what else would we do with it?!
Congratulations to all.
How many grandchildren now Sophie – 2?

It is soo good to see others families living ecological and in the nature like us!:)
