Just a quick note… using a horizontal axis machine like this one is very challenging with a bicycle do to the varying torque needs (as the wet clothes move up, then drop). A flywheel would help even out the peddling requirements. Or you could use a vertical axis washer, which use more water but don’t have the same problem (as the wet clothes move perpendicular to gravity).

If you make one… make sure to post it to Appropedia.org :)

    Enjoy.

If is nothing against use some industrial recup , then we use a variomatic speed gear , so easy to start.

we keep the original suspension of the machine and drive it by cardan from small car.
this make it also much easy to use flywheel on site of the variomatic gear box.

If not find the variomatic its even possible to do it with gear box from small car.

if doing it with some strong materials it must be possible to let the machine make spindle …………… how to say in English? ha…. centrifuge !???

    think about

    greetings Dirk
