Knights Templar Tomatoes!

  1. This is their land, they came here in the 11th century when the Vatican and France turned against them. Is it a local strain? do you know the name?

  2. LOVE it!! Having checked all my tomatoes and not found a single Knights Templar or anything else that could conceivably be a mystical symbol… I am really disappointed! I shall have to grow more varieties next year. :-)

They look delicious too. When I WWOOFed in France in ’07 the farmer grew 50 to 70 different varieties each year, organic toms every day!
There was a tomato show near where I live today, but I couldn’t afford to go this year.
