Our Zanthoxylum simulans (aka Szechuan Pepper or Prickly Ash) shrubs are doing really well and this is our 2nd year’s harvest. We use the seed husks to grind as pepper and we have some surplus seeds that we are selling.
If you’d like to try your hand at growing your own pepper – the shrubs are hardy to Zone 6 and you can grow them in Britain and other places less warm and sunny than Portugal! – then have a look at our ebay listing which also has more information.
