Would you Relish a Recipe Book?

I’ve been wanting to write a recipe book for a few years now and today I actually made a start!  The idea is that it will be mainly a recipe book, but also with lots of other information – for example I’ll do a recipe for pizza that also includes photos and info on how we built the bread oven.  Or tips on how to use up seasonal gluts, or how to save energy to cook the recipes, etc.  I don’t want it to be so much of a “how to” as a “how we do” just to give some ideas and inspiration.

Here’s a sneaky peak of the Sweet Pepper Relish I’ve made today.  I particularly love this on fish finger sandwiches and burgers (it’s not all healthy eating here!)

I also want to include lots of lush photos, especially as my son’s a brilliant photographer.

This photo (taken by me) is of another of my favourite relishes, made with a glut of courgettes.

I’d love your comments on this idea – is there anything else you’d add – would you buy the book?
